Moon Glider is located at a Marina in Roselle, Sydney. She is in excellent condition with an impressive equipment list. This is an incredible opportunity to have regular monthly use of a turn-key 1260 that is available NOW and ready for Sydney Harbour water sailing adventures!
Your annual membership allows you regular 3 day 2 night usage every month for a 12 month commitment with no equity commitment and insurance, maintanance and marina charges included. A $5000 refundable security bond is required for this 12 month program designed to help equip would-be cruisers who are inspired to set off exploring the world by sea but don't yet have the skills, experience or a boat to do it on and want to get prepared and do it right and avoid making costly mistakes along the way.
The provided training, regular access to a production catamaran and ongoing coaching and support is there to prepare you for eventually cruising on your own boat.
Memberships are limited to just 5 to ensure Moon Glider members get plenty of time onboard and 3 memberships have already been sold.
The 1260 is a brilliant design. Visibility is huge, with 360 degree vision all around and twin helm stations, so you can always have eyes on what matters, while protecting yourself from the elements as needed. By keeping the helms person level with the cockpit, the helms person is able to easily communicate with crew. The 1260 has a very large living space and the the innovative "Trifold" cockpit door that easily retract into the hard top, allowing you to create a single indoor/outdoor living area, with expansive seating, outdoor BBQ, sink and ice box. Moon Glider is easily single handed with all the controls leading to the helms. Tacking and gybing the 1260 is an incredibly simple one person activity, with a self-tacking jib.
